HONG-KONG, MAY 4. Sir Catchick Paul Chater, Hong-kong's greatest benefactor,left to-day for London. Before embarking he presented the Gover- nor with a cheque for £30,000 as a con- tribution towards the general purposes of Hong-kong University.

*** Sir C. P. Chatos, who is an unofficial member of the Hong-kong Executive Counell, in a director of the Indo-Chinese Stem Navigation Company and of other conserus.
